About Us
In 1957, the humble journey of our company began with our founder Shree Sita Ram Chaddha Jee. He embarked on building Sher as a trusted brand with the production of churan for kids, packed in paper pouches, in his home. In this small company, an enigmatic taste was concocted and concentrated upon, aimed at customer satisfaction, to be distributed in domestic markets of the founder’s hometown, Moradabad, UP.
1964 marks the year that the company got officially registered as Sher and started working in a systematic order. The production of churan products started in the form of powdered churan and churan balls which were widely popular. Added in this list was sher’s tamarind balls which were tangy and tasty!
In 1977, a stepping stone was marked with Shri. Kasturi Lal Chaddha (2nd generation) and his zealous vigor to explore new horizons of success. It was with his efforts that the company bore all hardships only to emerge out stronger and better than ever. Confectionery items were produced with the help of newly equipped machinery amongst many new modifications. The product range was widely curated with anew 15-20 delicious items including coconut-based products and hard-boiled sugar candies.
Now, in 2020, the company is under the guidance of Mr. Anil Kumar Chaddha (aka Sonu Chaddha) and Mr. Ravish Chaddha, who speared its success into the 3rd generation. We have hundreds of trademarks and copyrights with an expansive workforce of over 250 employees. We have inculcated toffees, lollipops, candies, eclairs and wafers in the variety of our offerings and hope to expand so as to include a huge range of other FMCG products. A premium range of traditional coconut ladoos with modern confluence of 5 luscious flavors with a shelf life of up to 4 months has too been introduced.
From the desk of CEO: This pinnacle of passion and success since the early years of our company would not have been possible without the ethereal force of nature and nurture, our mother- Mrs. Sudha Chaddha. Caring and compassionate, her blessings and support all throughout the journey of Sher have helped us reach where we stand today. It is with her continual shower of blessings that we endeavor to expand and excel.

With this zeal to deliver in accordance with our ever increasing standards, we culminate to our innovative products ranging from confectionery with a shelf life from 9-12 months and premium sweets like Sher Mithai with shelf life of four to seven months!

Each and every item, be it a coconut ladoo or sticks, sweets like Sher Mithai or digestives like churan, saunfs and fruit flavored balls, in addition to confectionery items, lollipops, éclairs and candies are all made to cater every tastebud for a delightful treat!

1973
Handmade flavorful Churan was introduced packed in promising paper pouches, bringing an exciting taste and trust into the domestic market of Moradabad, India.
1975
A delicious range of Churan flavours was introduced for our beloved consumers. This year also marked the innovation of packaging the Churan in paper and plastic straws, a leap in creativity and experience.
1977
A whole new and exciting range of products varying from hard boiled candies to coconut flavoured sweets were introduced into our family of perfect products.
1990
Tingling the tastebuds of all consumers, a new range of products including anardana Churan, chatpata old classic churan, churan balls and candies was introduced with hygienic automatic pouch packaging.
1999
A blend of modernity with the existing tradition of standards was initiated so as to mark the beginning of the new millennia with an exciting new range of coconut products such as coconut bars and sweets in pouch packets.
2010
This time period saw growth in the machinery, equipment and demand sectors. A great scale of manufacturing was seen due to the popularity of our products in the market, be it an addition of fruit flavoured balls, flavoured churan tablets and coconut sweets. An automated packaging system was too installed so as to enable efficiency.
2017
- Our strength in the family of experienced and expert workforce increased and continues to grow still.
- Delicious, individually packed coconut flake ladoos and coconut sticks were sold widely, making it an instant hit in the domestic markets.
